ASUU May Go On Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has threatened to embark on a nationwide strike if the Federal Government fails to implement the 2009 agreement it reached with the union.

Dr Theophilus Lagi, the Zonal Coordinator, Abuja Zone of the union, made this known in Abuja on Wednesday .

Hajj 2016: Flight Schedule For Amuwo , Lagos Pilgrims

Hajj is finally  here and no fewer than 20,000 pilgrims have been transported to Saudi Arabia for this year’s pilgrimage according to  The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) .

Mother and Baby Die In Keke Accident In Festac

Such a sad news as Hajia Tawakalt Akala and her one-year-old baby died recently on the 30th July at Festac Town , Lagos.

According to iWitness NG the decased and her one-year-old baby died on Saturday and members  of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria in Lagos State have lamented the death.

On the evening of 1st of August 2016 , O close 3rd avenue was thrown into panic as one of the Semi-duplex in the close caught fire.

According to festacOnline source , it was the house before the hospital that caught fire and it was almost affecting the roof of the hospital. Come September 2016 , Lagos State government is prepared to give out loans worth N6.25bn to interested unemployed youths in the state for small-scale businesses.
