Amuwo Chairman Gives New Furniture To Public Schools

The chairman of Amuwo Odofin, Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, in his plight to promote the standard of education in the council, while also creating a conducive learning environment that enhances students’ engagement and success, has presented ultramodern school furniture to public primary schools and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to indigent students across the seven wards.

He also gave past questions to common entrance pupils and placed eight of them on scholarships throughout their secondary education.

In his address, He said: “We are providing this so our children can study in a conducive atmosphere.

“We also distributed JAMB forms to our pupils. We are doing everything possible to improve the quality of education in our local government. We also conduct adult education for the elderly ones.

Head teachers from the benefitting schools expressed deep gratitude, offering heartfelt prayers to the chairman and his team, acknowledging their unwavering support and visionary leadership.

The event was attended by a diverse range of stakeholders from across the local government, demonstrating wide-ranging community support for these transformative projects. This initiative is a representation of a significant step forward in providing equitable and quality education to all students in the region.
