A Councilor representing Amuwo Odofin LGA , Honourable Olanrewaju Mohammed distributed free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to indigents in his ward.
According to the Ward D Councilor, it is part of his administrations commitment towards education in the community.
Olanrewaju while speaking to the press reiterated that his administration since inception placed high value on education, likewise believe in the proactive measure of taking the youth off street and engaging them either vocationally or professionally.
Asides from the distribution of the forms, also there was a session where he also met and interacted with the parents of the students who benefited from the free Jamb Forms.
The Lawmaker enjoined them to keep the dreams of their children to live by aligning with their respective choices.
He also enlighten them on the need to be a good role model to their children, through imbibing the right moral attitude into them as they are the full representative of the local area.
Parents of the free JAMB recipients, were filled with joy and happiness, acknowledging they already lost their hope in getting jamb forms for their children, they thanked honourable Olanrewaju for his efforts in considering them worthy in benefiting from his distributed JAMB forms, they noted that Olanrewaju is a philanthropist and lover of education.
Olanrewaju who took to the street to distribute the forms enjoined the recipients to utilize the opportunity.
He however, enjoined the people of Amuwo Odofin, ward C to keep their support affirm and remain unified in moving the community forward.
