Its a huge blow to the Amuwo-Odofin community as Omoba Deji Doherty passes on. Before his demise, he was a valued partner in the development of the LGA.
Deji Doherty was the CEO of Peniel Capital Projects Limited, an estate developer, a businessman and a politician. He made various contributions with his resources. He played various roles in efforts for the economic growth and development.
He was said to have passed on the 3rd of August 2024. The Service of Songs was held on August 15. It was a celebration of Omooba Deji Doherty’s life. Eulogies and tributes were paid to his memory. On the 16th August 2024, he was laid to rest.
It was a sad ceremony. A large crowd of mourners attended the burial ceremony. They came to bid farewell to Omooba Deji Doherty.
Omooba Deji Doherty is survived by his two wives, five children, and siblings, who were all present at the ceremony..
