The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Engr. Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh has sworn in the newly appointed Secretary to the Local Government and Supervisors at the headquarters of the Local government, Festac Town, Lagos.
The swearing-in ceremony which was witnessed by the All Progressives Congress party starlwarts, political stakeholders as well as well wishers of the newly appointed politicians from all walks of life was characterized with excitement.
The newly inaugurated Secretary to the Local Government is Engr. Seyi Ipinlaye. The Supervisors include Mr. Dare Ojepe, Mr. Umaru Nurudeen, Mr. Adebayo Dosumu, Mr. Nonso Inekwere, Mr Ajao Ibrahim, and Anagbalu Chinyere
According to the Chairman, he was elated at the epoch making event to usher in the Secretary to the local government and Supervisors to co-pilot the affairs of the local government for the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of the government.
” Politics is dynamic. You were chosen amongst the lots. You should count yourself lucky. Party decisions should be Supreme and respected,” he stressed.
He further commended members of the legislative arm for their support thus far, stressing that he can not do it alone.
The Council helmsman posited that he would remain committed to the ideology of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, noting that they have repositioned the State to an amiable height.
Similarly, the Chairman reiterated his resolve that the new administration would live up to the expectation reposed on them within the financial capacity available in the local government, seeking maximum support and co-operation from all and sundry. He promised not to renege on any of their campaign promises to extend the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
