Amuwo Odofin Gets New Special Advisers

Good news !

Amuwo Odofin gets new batch of Special Advisers to the local government area . The new set of special advisers were sworn in by the  Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, Engr. Valentine Buriamoh.
Special Advisers both (Cabinet & Non-Cabinet Members), Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants were sworn-in on the 11th of June 2018 at the council secretariat.

In attendance were stakeholders in the Lg and other prominent leaders in Amuwo Odofin including the APC party Chairman, Ayo Ogunbiye; Alhaja Memunat Ajao; former Chairman, Prince Otolorin; Hon. Risikat Adegeye, Apex leaders and other prominent politicians from the council area.

The portfolio of the newly-sworn-in cabinet members is to assist this administration in bringing dividends of democracy to the good people of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area in this dispensation.

Among the officers sworn-in were Alhaji Waheed Adewuni ( Special Duties/ Projects); Deacon Adebo Onojobi( Revenue/ Market); Adelegan Micheal (Industrial Relations); Ariyibi Olayiwola( Budgeting and Data Collection); Israel John Alika( Security Matters); Rev. Ogundiyi(Education/Library).

Others are: Evang. Ralph Egunjobi(Religious Matters); Akinbinu Gbenga (Youths Development); Akindele Tajudeen (Environment); Dapo Shittu ( Works/ Infrastructure); Kayode Michael (Sports Development); Abayomi Moradeyo ( Health); Effiong Dorothy ( Event/ Planning) Olayinka Afolayan (legal matters) et al.

The local government chairman urged the sworn-in cabinet and non-cabinet members  to live up to expectations in their responsibilities noting that their appointment is a call to service which they must discharge with high sense of responsibility.
