The first-ever community debate / interactive platform, #amuwodecides17 was a success with 3 Candidates gracing the debate.
Goldentulip Hotels Festac played host to this interactive platform with the candidates who graced the debate are Labour Party Candidate, Jamiu Ola-Balogun, APGA Candidate, Chinedu Nwoye & APC Candidate, Valentine Buraimoh while the PDP Candidate was absent.
The Moderator was in person of Mr Ojisiemezie while the Panelists, Mr Irekefe. Mr Kingsley & Miss Racheal.
In attendance were noble Men and Women of The community, Representing the Governor, Hon Dipo Olorunrinu, The Former Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin , Comrade Adewale was present.
The President of the Festival Town Residents Association, Mr Shola Fakorede graced the event with some ex-cos of the associations.
Representative of the PCRC, Hon Williams, The Chairman of the National Youth Council Amuwo-Odofin Chapter, Mr Gbenga was also present.
Questions asked were duly answered by the candidates giving us ideals of their proposed governance per adventure they are elected in as the Chairman of the Local Government.
Also other community associations were present , LASFADAN, YOWICAN, NATA , etc.
Questions were raised , issues were addressed, Facts were stated which would go along way in giving residents informed choices.
