As the election draws near and the deadline for PVC registration comes close, Nigerians and residents in the Amuwo-Odofin axis have flooded the INEC office.
Since the extension of the registration deadline , residents have experienced long queues, long waiting lines just to register.
Festaconline spoke to some residents who lamented bitterly about the process. Some complained that they spend hours and yet still not able to register, some even go there as early as 6am so as to beat the queues.
The growing crowd has been out of control, i have been to the INEC office more than 4 times and yet unable to register, the last time we were all locked outside waiting for the gates to be opened, They had forced d gate to get in.- Mr Akpan
Lamenting on instagram , a Festaconline reader shared her experience.
Would there be an extension TO REGISTER again ? what would happen to thousands of residents who haven’t registered ?
