Position Contested and Ward
I’m contesting for the position of a COUNCILLOR under the platform of ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS PARTY in ODOFIN WARD A2 Amuwo Odofin Local government.
Background and Experience
I am IDRIS G.A a dynamic and visionary community leader, educationist, and political enthusiast, widely recognized for my commitment to grassroots development and public service. I was born in the mid 80’s to the family of Late Baba GBADAMOSI and raised in this community mile 2 estate.

In the early 90’s I attended Unity primary School Mile 2 and Amuwo Odofin secondary school afterwards I proceeded to obtain my first degree at Tai Solarin University of Education (B.Sc.Edu) in mathematics, a qualification that laid the foundation for my strong analytical skills, discipline, and dedication to excellence.
Beyond academics, I have built a career as a freelance web developer and graphic designer, blending innovation with service delivery to support businesses and organizations in the digital age. My professional journey has been marked by creativity, reliability, and a commitment to continuous growth.
In the political space, i have remained a steadfast member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), actively participating in party affairs and serving in various capacities. My leadership style is grounded in transparency, empathy, and inclusiveness, qualities that have earned me the trust and admiration of peers and constituents.
Why Running
I’m running for the office simply because i believe in quality representative to stand between the eyes of the community and the government in other to bring positive change to the society.
Top 3 Issues and His Plans
Collaborating with security agencies and private organizations including NGOs to bring a logical solutions to our security challenges
Advocate for policies that would make people be encouraged to adhere to not polluting the sewage systems after repairing them
I’m also going to engage the electric power company in solving some of the challenges facing our communities
Staying Accountable

The office of a councilor is the closest to the grassroots and with that there would be a quarterly community town hall meeting which would create an avenue for us to see the progress and achievements we have made so far.
