Position Contested and Ward
I am contesting for the position of Councillor in Ward B2, under Amuwo Odofin Local Government.
Background and Experience
Jimi has been Resident in festac all his life. He is passionate about the community and quite disappointed at how dilapidated everywhere is.
Maiyegun is a graduate of Insurance from the University of Lagos, an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (C.I.I.N,) and presently works with Aiico Insurance.
In terms of Community Service, He has been the past Secretary of 7th Avenue, G Close Residence Association where heengineered the drafting of the Constitution for the Association.
His father, Alhaji Maiyegun, was also a great contributor to the development of Festac town as a former president of the Seventh Avenue Neighbourhood Resident’s Association (SANRA). He was also a former President of the Festac Town Muslim Community (FTMC)
Why Running
To improve and develop my community.
To contribute my own quota to to building and enhancing my society and also following in the steps of my FATHER, who did a lot for this community.

By hosting a quarterly townhall meeting to connect, discuss and have a closer sense of what the ppl are going through and how best all of us can collectively take specific measures to improve Community Ward B1

FESTAC WAS AND STIL IS A GLORIOUS PLACE TO LIVE IN. DESPITE THE NEGLECT AND IRRESPONSIBILITY OF THE APC GOVERNMENT THEREBY LEADING TO THE DILAPIDATION OF OUR LIVELY COMMUNITY, WE CAN STILL REKINDLE ITS PAST GLORY AND ALSO GET IT TO GREATER HEIGHTS OF A LOVING, BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT TO LIVE IN.
