Position Contested and Ward
I am contesting for the office of Councilorship in Ward A1 Amuwo Odofin.
Background and Experience
Kikelomo Isiolaotan-Yovo is a wife, mother and a Legal Practitioner by profession. She has lived in Amuwo Odofin LGA since her childhood.
She attended primary school in Satellite Town and my Secondary school was in Festac Town. Kikelomo attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana for her Undergraduate where she obtained her LLB degree. After completing my course, she came back to Nigeria to attend Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar.
Why Running
In her words”I am running for office because I am tired of complaining that things are not done properly, no proper representation for the constituents and our interests are not protected. I want to make positive impact in the lives of people.”
Top 3 Issues and His Plans
Flooding is a major issue I.e Apple Junction, New Road and Festac Extension to list a few.
Bad roads which isn’t motorable to be specific the road leading to ABC Transport, Prayer and Peace Estate and the environs.
Lack of street lights.

The job of a Councillor is to make Bylaws, to act as a bridge between the people and the Local Government. I will ensure I advocate and represent the people of my Ward by lobbying and bringing to the attention of the Council the needs of my people. I will also look into Extant laws and see how best we can implement the ones that will benefit the people. My list is really not exhaustive.
Staying Accountable
Firstly let me state that I reside amongst the people of my Ward and that will not change. With me being on ground, I will get first hand information on the challenges faced by the people in my Ward by engaging with them regularly.
Her Message to the People
We are currently living below optimal levels in Amuwo. We have flood problems, bad roads and so on. We have been governed by the APC government for too many years and things have kept going from bad to worst. It is time for change and Labour Party is the change we all need.
