I am contesting for Councilor of Ward A2
Background and Experience
I am a devoted husband and father. My family and I have been residents of Amuwo Odofin Jakande Estate since November 1981. We lived in Block 175, Flat 2, where my mother and other relatives still reside today. I attended Amuwo Odofin Primary School and later went to Amuwo Odofin Secondary School, known as “Jollof Rice.” I further pursued my education at Lagos State University, where I earned my degree.
Why Running
I am running for the position of Councilor in Ward A2 because I genuinely want to serve and make a positive difference in our community. I believe in working hard to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and that we address the issues affecting our daily lives. My goal is to promote unity, progress, and prosperity for all residents of Ward A2 through dedicated leadership.
Top 3 Issues and His Plans
Environment: I am committed to improving our surroundings by rehabilitating drainage systems, maintaining regular sanitation efforts, and forming community groups to tackle environmental challenges together.
Youth Development: I want to empower our young people by launching skills training programs, supporting small businesses, and encouraging involvement in technology and creative industries to help them become independent and successful.
Staying Accountable
To keep everyone informed and involved, I plan to hold town hall meetings every three months, keep my office open for direct communication, and use social media to gather feedback and share updates. I will also establish a Neighborhood Progress Group made up of community representatives to ensure transparency and active participation from grassroots members in decision-making.
