Hon. Folorunso Ola, a businessman and foremost philanthropist, come Politician, popularly known as Ola Western, in a bid to alleviate the current economic hardship in the country, has distributed some basic feeding amenities to over 750 vulnerable residents of Amuwo-Odofin.
This initiative was also organized in the spirit of Easter and is also the second edition of this initiative which he tagged “Ya Koo Yo” and was held at the Ola Western campaign office on 3rd Avenue, Festac Town, during the weekend.
Residents expressed joy and gratitude and prayed for God’s mercy and blessing towards the sponsor. Beneficiaries of this initiative included the physically challenged, the aged, and youths, who went home with free food items such as live chicken, rice, yam, garri, vegetable oil, and cash gifts.
Ola Western, on speaking with the newsmen, expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to touch lives and impact humanity, promising to continue to contribute his noble quota to societal development, as his passion is in helping the poor and needy.
This edition of the Ola Western Food Fest was meant to complement the efforts of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s “Ounje Eko,”’ Food Fest, usually held at strategic locations across Lagos state, but in this case, the items given were free. We pray for better days ahead.
