On Thursday 24th January 2019, The All progressive congress, APC held their campaign flag off/ Rally.
The flag off took place at the popular FHA Field, 23 road Festac Town, Lagos state despite the heavy downpour.
The arena witnessed a high level of political gathering of party faithfuls, party stalwarts and followers of the candidates .
The candidates are Hon Adegeye Ajoke for Federal house of Representative AmuwoOdofin, Hon Mojisola Kehinde Alli-Macaulay for Lagos state houe of assembly , AmuwoOdofin constituency 1
Present at the campaign was the Executive chairman, AmuwoOdofin,
Oriade LCDA Chairman ,Hon Ramotallahi Akinola Hassan,Apex leaders, ward chairmen, Council legislators, supervisors / SAs , party leaders , women, youth and members.
The leaders of the party, took turn to speak and their message was the same, they all advised the members to bury all hatchet and work for the success of the party , by voting for all APC candidates.
At the twilight of the campaign , the candidates of the party also asked for the support of the members and urged them to come out in their thousands on February 16th and March 2nd and vote for the APC candidates.
The flag off was brought to a close with the address of the chairman of Amuwo-Odofin council, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh as he admonished members, and advised them that it is better to have our party men at the helm of affairs t
han an opposition, so he pleaded with them to campaign, canvass and support the party’s candidates for all the elections.
