ASUUStrike: Students Protest Prolonged Strike At Lagos Airport + Video

Students under the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) affected by the ongoing prolonged ASUU strike have had enough of the wait and have thus taken to the streets to express their concerns.

Since the 12th of September, 2022, they have gone as far as causing gridlocks on major routes especially on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway causing massive traffic congestion on this route but the Federal government was quick to shun this as inappropriate.

Today, 19th of September, 2022, the angered students with the hopes of making a statement, took their protest to higher grounds and manned the Muritala Mohammed International Airport road but they were forewarned by men of the Lagos State Police Command and Lagos Airport Police Command and most likely the military if things get out of hand not to further their protest plans.

The body claims to be aware of the mobilized forces on ground and still planned on forging ahead with the protest as they have been doing since last Tuesday.

They noted that the Lagos airport would be the first among the airports to be grounded by the students.
