Amuwo-Odofin has of recent seen a mass invasion of persons who some call scavenger’s. Over the past months there have been numerous reports of thefts ranging from manholes, to scrap metals and iron related items.
The end bad governance protest started on the 1st of August 2024 across various states in Nigeria. The protest saw to a lot of persons come out to share their grievances towards the current dilapidated stste of the economy in Nigeria.
In light of the scheduled protest slated to commence on the 1st of August 2024 tagged #endbadgovernance, TheLGA Chairman addresses his Constituents.
As the date for the protests draw the near, the Ezendigbo of Amuwo Odofin LGA, His Royal Majesty, Eze Prosper Chukwuka, has urged Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin and indeed Lagos State not to participate in the planned protest by faceless groups against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Friday July 26th woke residents of the Abule Osun axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA , Lagos state with a raging fire that gutted a manufacturing firm, JOSIEN Complex and Emergency who occupied a warehouse.
