The whole of the Amuwo-Odofin community has been thrown into a rude shock as the news of the passing of CSP Maltida Ngbaronye hit the community
According to information gathered by Festaconline NewsMedia, CSP Maltida passed away late Friday Night 24th October 2025. She was receiving medical treatment at the Mayriamville Medical Centre, Bode Thomas, Surulere, and she died during a medical session for fibroid treatment.
Its also a big loss to the Police Command , as a delegation from the Lagos Police Command visited the hospital to confirm the development and make necessary arrangements and the corpse evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.
CSP Ngbaroyen was described as a dedicated and disciplined officer who served the Nigeria Police Force with commitment and professionalism. She was also a former Deputy Police public relations officer for the Lagos state command.
The Command said arrangements were underway, in collaboration with the late officer’s family, to accord her a befitting burial.
