Another postponement for the Lagos APC Governorship primaries as the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled the highly anticipated gubernatorial primary to elect the candidate to represent the party in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
The postponement was announced in a statement by the Ag. National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Yekini Nabena.
The new date for the exercise has been slated for Tuesday, October 2, 2018, with the primary expected to hold across the 20 local government areas and 245 wards in the state.
This is the fourth time the party will reschedule the Lagos State governorship primary.
Recall that the gubernatorial primary was originally scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 29, 2018, before it was shifted to Sunday, September 30, 2018, and today, Monday, October 1, 2018 respectively.
