Yesterday evening, April 12, a six-storey building under construction in the Banana Island area of Lagos state, reportedly collapsed to the ground in a rubble.
The collapsed building had people working at the top of the building at the time of collapse, thus trapping them in the rubble.
Fortunately, Lagos state emergency management agency (LASEMA) was one of the first responders and proclaimed that no lives were lost but several of the workers were severely injured and were taken to the hospital as soon as possible.
