It was another day of history at Christ Apostolic Church, Amuwo-Odofin Districts’ Coordinating Council (DCC), Festac, Lagos on March 1, 2023, as the DCC welcomed her new Superintendent, Pastor Michael Kayode Ehinmode.
The CAC Church Authority had interchanged the Superintendents of Amuwo-Odofin DCC, Festac, and Calvary DCC, Warri by transferring Pastor Ehinmode to Amuwo-Odofin DCC and Pastor Joe Jacobs to Calvary DCC.
Pastor Ehinmode was joyfully welcomed to Amuwo-Odofin by Ministers, Elders, CACMA, Good Women, Youth Fellowship, Choir, and other members of the DCC.
Speaking to the congregation on the topic “Faithfulness in God’s Service”, Pastor Ehinmode said the Christian calling is a four-dimensional calling and one of them is the call to salvation.
He explained that the book of Genesis ended in a coffin as a man could not deliver himself, with a dire need for God, saying that after redemption God called us to His service, hence, the need to serve Him with a pure heart.
Part of the Christian four-dimensional calling according to him is “FAST” which he explained to be Faithfulness, Availability, Submission, and Teachability.
He added that many are faithful but not available, while some are available but not teachable.
The third-dimensional calling of the Christian according to Pastor Ehinmode is giving ‘no room for competition in the house of God,’ saying that we are to complement each other.
The Cleric said faithfulness is the last of the Christian four-dimensional calling, noting that; “you cannot claim to be a child of God until you are given millions of naira and nothing happens to it. God has called us and has given us an assignment. He has called us to His divine business.”
