In celebration and a yearly / annual event , the community day celebration / carnival was held in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area on 13 May 2017 at the FHA Sports Field, 23 Road Festac Town, Lagos.
Both Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade Local Council Development Area celebrated the day together

Festac Town witnesses the Shakara square initiated Fitness Walk which saw to a number of individuals participate and keep fit.
The Fitness Walk kicked off as early as 7:30 am on the 25th March 2017 from the FHA Field 24 Road. Tee shirts were given to participants as well as Tecnop branded Sports Kit.
