Lagos State Bags Three New High Court Judges, Permanent Secretary

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode today, Wednesday, May 2, 2018, swore-in three new Judges of the State High Court, with a charge on them to be fearless in the discharge of their duties and to always allow professional ethics to govern their acts and utterances within and outside the court.

Residents Don’t Seek Approval on Structures – Lagos State Gov Laments

The Lagos State Government has lamented that many residents of the state do not seek approval before erecting their structures.

Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Rotimi Ogunleye, disclosed this at the weekend at a stakeholders’ interactive session in Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

Customs Impounds 59 Vehicles worth over N1bn from Ikoyi, Festac

Seizes over 10 trailers of foreign parboiled rice

The Federal Operations Unit, Zone A of the Nigeria Customs Service with headquarters at Ikeja, Lagos has evacuated 59 assorted vehicles with the Duty Paid Value (DPV) of one billion, seventy-six million, eight hundred and ninety-five thousand, seven hundred and seventy-two naira, two Kobo (N1,076,895,727.2) from a hidden house in Ikoyi and car marts in Festac area of Lagos state.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the immediate removal of all roadblocks across the country’s highways.
