The July 12 Grassroot election in Amuwo-Odofin for Ward D didnt end on the day of the poll as a petition was filled and submitted to the tribunal. The petition has been dismissed by the lagos state Local Government Election Petition Tribunaldescribing the challenge as vague, lacking in merit, and unsupported by credible evidence.

Apo Ariyo: Amuwo Chairman Distributes 2000 Food Bags

In a bid to alleviate hunger and bring relief to residents, the Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Prince Lanre Sanusi, distributed 2,000 food bags to households across the council under his “Apo Ariyo Initiative.”

The event which held at the Amuwo-Odofin Council Secretariat, drew various community groups, associations, and residents, reflecting a strong sense of unity and hope across the local government area.
