Festac Police Recover Arms at Alaba International Market

Detectives from Area E Festac Command stormed and recovered high caliber guns such as pump actions, double barrels, short guns and live ammunition in the market.

Thus, the leader of the market, Mr Emeka Mozoba and some of the security men in the market were arrested and detained at Festac police command.

The lingering fuel scarcity condition in the country has been a source of continuous concern to the masses as there have been instance of increased violence especially around filling stations in a bid to get the product.

Loral International School Holds Interhouse Sports Competition

Loral international school held their annual inter house sports and it was a huge success.

Over 24 schools in Lagos and Ogun states were invited to the competition, which was part of the annual inter-house sports programme of Loral School. Some of the schools that participated in the relay include: Faith Academy Ota, Ogun State, The Bells Comprehensive College, Ota, Faith Academy, Gowon Estate, Mt Moriah College, Akinwunmi, Ogun State, The Gem International Secondary School, Ogun State, Doseg Secondary School, Festac, among others.

Alaba Traders Protest Against kidnappings in Festac Town

Traders at Alaba international market yesterday took their protest to the Area E Police command, Festac Town, Lagos, demanding an end to the ‘rampant’ abductions of traders Festac Town and its environs.

The protest, which was led by the First Vice Chairman of the market, Mr. Madueke Achonamokwu, was disrupted when the traders arrived the front gate of the Area E Police Command in FESTAC Town.
