Woman Flees Festac Home Over Circumcision Refusal

For the fear of her life and that of her kids , Mrs Victoria Akinsanya has fleed her home in Festac Town , Lagos.

She absconded for refusing to get her children circumcised, the mother of three, Mrs Victoria Ijeoma Akinsanya has been forced to abscond her Festac town, Lagos residence to an unknown destination.

3 Suspected Vandals Arrested Around Festac Creeks

Three suspected vandals have been arrested for engaging in oil bunkering around the creeks in the FESTAC Town area of Lagos State.

The three suspects – Johnson Igadu, 25, Daniel Poku, 25, and 26-year-old Sterling Longlife – confessed that they were assured by some military officers that nothing would go worng before carrying out the operation.

NIWA Gets 47-Seater WaterBus for Commuters In Festac, Mile 2 Environs

The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) has received two catamaran passenger WaterBus boats built by SeaLink Marine Boatyard in Lagos, Nigeria.

The boats were received by Mr. Mu’azu Sambo the Area Manager, Lagos on behalf of the Managing Director NIWA. He said that the boats received will be deployed as soon as a private operator is engaged.

Festac Police Recover Arms at Alaba International Market

Detectives from Area E Festac Command stormed and recovered high caliber guns such as pump actions, double barrels, short guns and live ammunition in the market.

Thus, the leader of the market, Mr Emeka Mozoba and some of the security men in the market were arrested and detained at Festac police command.
