A suspected thief ran out of luck in the early hours of Thursday, July 17th, after he was caught attempting to steal air conditioning units from a popular eatery in Festac town.
Residents of 112 Road came together to apprehend the thief who had been stealing air conditioning units in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was caught red-handed at 112 Road, at the popular Nibbles place, which had been closed for a while, where he had already stolen 2 units.
Residents claim that at least five air conditioning units have gone missing in the area in the past month alone, and residents believe the suspect is connected to those incidents as well.
The suspect reportedly attempted to flee the scene but was overpowered by residents, tied down, and beaten.
