COVID-19:See The New Agboju Market Laws

Agboju market, which is one of the most patronized public market located at the 2nd avenue axis of Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin LGA, Lagos state gets new laws.

Owing to the current rapid community transmission phase of the deadly coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and globally, new measures have been out to curb the spread.

Before now, there has been lamentations and reports from resdients of the crowdy situation and lack of social distancing at the Agboju Market.

The executive chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LGA has now enforced physical distancing at the market.

The LGA has partnered with the Market leaders at the Agboju market to enforce this order which would take effect from May 4th 2020.

The LGA executive have pleaded with the market leaders and sellers to either comply with the physical distancing measures or have the market shutdown.

Hence a one-day-on , one-day-off model have now been enforced in the market, giving some traders to open and some stay away.

Also asides from the above said strategy, the market will now open by 9am and shut by 3pm.
