It was a gory sight and a horrible day in Festac Town axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA as Domestic violence claimed the life of a resident of Amuwo LGA as a Lady, Name unmentioned lost her life in the hands of her loved one.
According to information gathered, on Monday, 24th June 2024, at round 5pm, she went back home when the lady and the man were known to be in a relationship and live-in-lovers. The couple was said to be arguing, and she was stabbed up to 5 times. This happened in the 7th Avenue axis of Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin LGA.
Afterwards the man was trying to escape with a blood stained shirt before the security guard apprehended him, he while still trying to escape, he threw himself inside the well in his compound threating anyone who come close to him. He threatened to stab himself and anyone who came close.
The police were able to salvage the situation. He was brought out from the well and was apprehended and taken to the Festac Police station as at this time of report. The lady was left lying lifeless in the pool of her own blood.
