It’s a gory sunday morning as an alleged Pipeline explosion occurred at the Abule ado axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA.
The exploded pipeline is reportedly owned by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in Abule-Soba community of Lagos state, exploded this morning at about 8:50am
The explosion was so loud that residents of Surulere, Amuwo Odofin, Oshodi, Ikeja, Alimosho and environs felt the impact.
Many buildings mostly residential have been destroyed in that area and environs
Residents of Ijegun, Ikotun, Egbeda, Abule Ado, Okota, Isheri Olofin, FESTAC, Satellite Town said they were affected by the explosion.
Also news reaching us states that a nearby boarding school in that axis has been seriously affected with casualties
The Federal Fire Service tweeted that its men are making efforts to get information on the incident.
The explosion left some of the windows shattered and ceilings pulled off and even some houses collapsed
Casulities have not yet been officially confirmed but many are hurt.
