The 7th edition of the Penalty King event held on the 29th May 2022 at the stonefield, 41 road Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin LGA and it was a success.
The event saw to troops of football , entertainment and fun lovers attend the edition. Gracing the event were entertainment moguls in the community.
In attendance was Cladon Foster who was also the main anchor, Magic , Ward C Councilor, Honorable Hammed Olanrewaju, Hon Ameen, supervisor for youth, sports, and social development and so many others.
The competition saw to a huge number of 186 registered contestants who participated in the four different categories which were Female kid category, Adult Female category, Main Winner etc.
The season 7 produced the new Penalty king Tari Joweigha, who bagged N50,000 cash, a gift bag, a travel charger, and a Bluetooth speaker.
The second category winner, Emmanuel Lala received N15,000 cash, a gift bag, and a Bluetooth speaker
While Eberechukwu Ikpeka bagged the winner of the Female Kid category with N15,000 cash, a gift bag while Ezekwugo Chiamaka came top with the Adult Female category and took home N20,000 cash, a gift bag.
The highlight of the day was the honour of Late Coach Emeka Anthony Okpor (DaddyMekus) who passed on on January 19th, 2022.
Mr. Ibikunle Oluwafemi, founder and owner of Exquisite Model International who also founded Penalty King Series said.
“This season 7 is in memory of DaddyMekus, who is like a founding member of this event because when I wanted to start I met him. He was a category C FIFA approved coach, the highest-ranked coach in this local government area.
Ward C councilor, and the newly elected of Amuwo Odofin Local Government area were both at the event.
