An aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Faith Ugbeshe, has declared her ambition, pledging to deliver transparent and people-focused representation.
Ugbeshe said her decision to contest is driven by a commitment to strengthen governance at the grassroots level and improve outcomes for residents within the constituency.
She noted that her experience as a former chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Amuwo-Odofin has given her a deep understanding of local political dynamics and community needs.
According to her, this background positions her to effectively represent constituents and drive meaningful legislative impact if elected.
“My focus is on delivering innovative, transparent, and people-focused governance,” she said, adding that her legislative priorities would include lawmaking, oversight functions, quality representation, and thorough budget scrutiny.
Ugbeshe explained that her agenda is designed to ensure fair allocation of resources and improved development outcomes across communities within Amuwo-Odofin.
She also expressed confidence in her five-point agenda, stating that it would help reposition the constituency and address key challenges affecting residents.
“I have been involved in grassroots politics in this area for quite some time… your support for me will yield good dividends,” she added while appealing to party members and constituents ahead of the party’s ticket selection process.
Her declaration comes as political activities gradually intensify within Amuwo-Odofin, with aspirants and parties beginning early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
