According to travel advisory being circulated there would be a temporary closure of the Festac Link Bridge from Friday June 15th 2018 to Saturday June 16th 2018.
The closure of the bridge is to allow for repair works to be carried out.
So for those who ply that route , see below alternative routes to take .
List of Alternative Routes Into Festac Town
• Motorists coming out of FESTAC through 1st Avenue,2nd Avenue, 11th Avenue and 21 Road, should link Lagos-Badagry Expressway through, FESTAC 1st Gate and turn at Alakija to connect Mile 2.
• Motorists coming out of FESTAC through 7th Avenue, should link Lagos-Badagry Expressway and turn at Alakija to connect Mile 2.
• Motorists going into FESTAC from Oshodi, Cele, Ago Palace Way, 2nd Rainbow should take Apple Junction to Mile 2 and link Mazamaza Bridge to FESTAC 1st Gate and connect FESTAC proper.
NOTE: LASTMA personnel shall be at all strategic points and junctions to control and manage traffic in order to reduce travel time and delays.
Therefore, Staff plying the affected area are implored to plan their movements.
