Festac Girls Secondary School Wins At Amuwo Inter-school Debate

The inter-school debate which held on the 27th April 2018 saw to Festac Girls Secondary School emerging top and overall winner at the competition.

The competition which had both debate and a quiz segments saw to the Festac Girls Secondary School slugging it out with three other schools which are , Amuwo Odofin Senior Secondary School,  Igbologun Senior Secondary School, Festac Senior Grammar School and Festac Senior College.

The competition held at the Amuwo Odofin LG Secretariat , 41 Road and saw to representatives from the schools and other interested participants grace the event.

Present was the Vice chairman, Amuwo Odofin, Hon Segun Idris, representatives from the Lagos state education board, Oluyomi Odunuga and other dignitaries.
The competition was keenly battled out with Festac Girls Secondary School emerged overall best  winners in the quiz and debate  category, while  Amuwo Odofin Senior Secondary School came second in the quiz competition and Festac Senior Grammar School came second in the debate competition.

The winners were presented with gifts to encourage better performance in subsequent editions.
