I was performing at a street show and he came there scouting for talent. I got lucky that he liked my performance so he invited me over to his place. He had me record different songs but he didn’t really like my style, he was just fascinated with my voice, so he tutored me and changed my style to what I do now. Onobello
It started way back in AJ city when I had to do a lot of things to survive since I lost my grandma and my dad. It was only me and my elder brother. So after my secondary school, I had to do something. I started hawking at Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)…(Laughs). I was hawking meat pie. The first song I recorded was with Achievas Music and things changed from then – Naij

When I got my first record label, I did not have any deal with them because they were not based in Lagos. They were based in Kaduna. I moved from Lagos to Kaduna. When I got there and saw what their entertainment scene was like, I decided against signing a contract. I did not like what I saw. I returned to Lagos and moved straight to the studio to record a song. It was the same song that made OC Achievas sign me on to Achievas Music. – Punch
He has grown from Grass to Grace hence we celebrate him here as a Festac Icon.
