Good News ! Festac Link Bridge Repairs have commenced.
Since The Unfortunate Fire Incident that affected the Festac Link Bridge, it has been unbearable for residents as the section affected was closed and both vehicular and Human Movements have been confined to one part of the bridge.
We are excited to announce that repair work has commenced on the Festac link bridge by Engineers from Chinese Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) as directed by the Lagos State Government.
Residents are advised to be patient as much work need to be done to ensure that the bridge is safe for the usual traffic inflow and outflow.
There is no certainty on the particular time frame that would be needed to satisfactorily complete repairs and it is of this reasons that residents are advised to exercise some patience and cooperate with the workers on site and the traffic management Authorities as they direct and divert vehicles so as to ease the gridlock.
Also the Lagos State House of Assembly Representing Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 1,Honorable Dipo Olorunrinu made a case for the Festac Link Bridge Repairs and compensation of the car dealer Mr Chinedu at their sitting
He also made an appeal that sensitization should be carried out on quick response to emergences.
