2nd Avenue is an avenue / location in the popular Festac Town community . 2nd avenue is a mixed area which comprises of both residential and commercial . It is located just off 1st avenue.
2nd avenue starts from the popular First gate which is the main entrance into Festac Town an spans to the 2nd and 3rd gate namely Agboju and Alakija as people know them as .

This area can be known to be the car sales zone in the community . This is where most car dealers have their good on for sale and show case .
Also Car mechanics find this are quite lucrative hence a lot of them in this side.
There is not much night life here except from the busy 3 entrances / gates leading into festac from the Badagry express way.
Talking about security , 2nd avenue houses the Area E police station . Also there is the Amuwo Odofin Constituency located in this area.
One of the popular markets in Festac Town is Agboju which is also located in this area. It is always a busy place right from as early as 6.am till as late as 10pm .
Also not forgetting the busy Alakija which marks the end of the avenue spanning from 7th avenue called 3rd Gate.
Just like first avenue , there is no filling station in this area but the nearest is the popular Forte Oil Filling station popularly known as AP located off 1st avenue on 21 road

There are no or very few schools located in this area.

Funny enough there is no hotel on this axis as i said earlier its mainly residential in regards to accommodation. But some may exist in hidden modes.
The main residential areas are 201,202,203, 204, 205, 206,207,208,209. located at the right side of the avenue.
Transportation
Buses , Keke and Bikes all ply this on this road as it is one busy area. but there is a minor exception as Bikes do not pass in front of the police station ,so you can only find bikes before or after the police station.
Roads
The roads in 2nd avenue are ok except from the major bad road that is before and after the police station which sometimes causes traffic or gathers water when it rains. as at this time of the writing.
Financial Institutions
Talking commercial , there are banks such as Zenith , Skye , Ecobank , Abbey Bank , Unity bank , Diamond bank located in this zone as at this time of writing .
Markets Shopping
There are quite a numb of shopping areas on this avenue such as the popular Agboju market , City Dia , Mophet Pharmacy , Cherries supermarket and other smaller stores along.
Kiddies
For kids there is the fun spot at Winny’s meal , also there is a school which has a spot for kids to play . Talking about places where kids can utilise , 2nd avenue is gifted with good vegetation hence various parks at the residential area. The most popular is the 206 park which is used as an event centre as well as a kiddies fun zone .
Medical
There is a pharmacy located along , Mophet Pharmacy , also a dental hospital and other smaller pharmacies.

There are various religious houses located in 2nd avenue but mostly churches , from The communion church , to redeem church , and other churches not listed.
