The long awaited beauty pageant, Miss Universe has officially kicked off her 2024 edition. The beauty pageant kicked off with the camp activities which is ongoing in the Amuwo-Odofin axis of Lagos State.
The camp is located at the prestigious Festival Hotel, Amuwo-Odofin. It saw the arrival of twenty-four contestants representing various states. The camp location activities kicked off on the 24th August 2024. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and anticipation as the delegates checked in and completed their registration process.
The contestants arrived and were checked into their assigned rooms and the camp began the next day with their official pageant photo shoot.
An orientation session was held. The President of the Silverbird Group, Guy Murray-Bruce, led it. He welcomed the delegates and offered words of encouragement. He emphasized the competition’s significance not only as a beauty platform. He also highlighted it as an opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and promoting Nigerian culture globally.
The grand finale of Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 will be on August 31. It will take place at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.
The organizers have announced that this year’s winner will get ₦10 million in cash. The winner will also get other prizes. The winner will represent the nation at the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant.
