Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), has applauded the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Prince Lanre Sanusi, for his creative and pragmatic solutions toward environmental rejuvenation in Festac Town and its environs.

Hon. Ojo made this known on Tuesday during the official commissioning of the First Gate of Festac Town, According to Ojo, the collaboration between the FHA and the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has yielded positive outcomes for residents through bilateral project execution.
Prince Lanre Sanusi has in recent months embarked on several initiatives to improve the environmental and infrastructural outlook of the community. These include: commenecement of environmental rejuvenation of Festac Town, Road palliative works around the Alakija axis of Second Avenue, Clearing of drainages and approval of road reconstruction projects, including 52 Road, 5th Avenue, and 51 Road, recommencement of rehabilitation of 23 road, Rehabilitation and electrification of Agboju Market Road and Agboju Express Road.
During a visit to the 6th Avenue expanse linking Ijedodo in Alimosho LGA and Abule-Ado in Amuwo-Odofin, Sanusi reaffirmed that the FHA under Ojo’s leadership is committed to enhancing road connectivity and infrastructural development in the area.
He also urged traders affected by the council’s environmental cleansing exercise to prepare for relocation to a more suitable and organized marketplace, stressing that the move was aimed at creating a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable Festac
