Yesterday, 13th of it was a black evening in 7th Avenue Festac Town, Lagos.
The Fire started at about 5pm when electricity was restored and taken and immediately fire broke out in a flat , S Close, 7th Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos.
The fire razed for some time, the occupants in the flat were able to be evacuated and no one was hurt.
Fire services (LASEMA) were called from both Ikeja and Ojo stations. Ojo Fire service arrived in earlier and also the ones from Ikeja arrived late due to the traffic from ikeja and also the heavy traffic on the Festac Link bridge.
Fire was able to be contained and spread was curtailed. The entire kitchen was razed and everything burnt also the fire spread through the roof to the other part of the house.
