Former Amuwo Political Aspirant Sworn-in As Special Adviser

A former aspirant, Gbenga Oyerinde who showed interest in running for the position of the Lagos state house of assembly Amuwo-Odofin Constutuency, Lagos in the 2019 elections under the APC Party bags new appointment.

Mr Oyerinde was recently amongst the newly sworn-in members of the cabinet of the Lagos state government of the current administration.

This appointment occurred after the recent cabinet reshuffling and redeployment by the governor.

Eight cabinet portfolios were affected which saw to redeployment , reshuffling of some current commissioners and special advisers and addition of three new cabinet members.

Three new members of the State executive council, members of the Civil Service Commission and five Permanent Secretaries were officially sworn in as cabinet members and commissioners into the civil service commission in Lagos state.

The swearing in held on 27th January 2020 at the Lagos state house, alausa and the newly appointed members got sworn-in by Babajide Sanwo-olu.

Hon Gbenga Oyerinde was sworn-in as the special adviser to the governor on (Central Business District ) CBD.

The occasion was graced by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat; Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Jaji; past and present members of the Federal and State House of Assembly and well wishers of the newly appointed members.
