Gani Adams Now Tayese Of Amuwo Odofin

Otunba Gani Adams , The National  Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress, has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Tayese of Amuwo Odofin.

Adams was honoured with the title as an honour for service on 12th of August 2017, at the palace, HRM Oba Isaac Olayemi, Alamuwo of Kuje Amuwo.

He was honoured for his enormous contributions to the growth and development of humanity by His Imperial Majesty King Isaac Olayemi, the Alamuwo of Kuje Amuwo Kingdom in Lagos.

The monarch said it shows he is recognized, and people appreciate the work he has been doing.

His Royal Majesty Oba Kayode Akinyemi, The Alabiran of Ikare who was also invited by the Alamuwo of Kuje Amuwo commended Otunba Adams for his support in making sure the criminal activities of Badoo is becoming things of the past in Lagos, he appeals to him not to relent his efforts in the area of cultural promotions as well security of the Yoruba land as a whole.

In his acceptance speech, Otunba Adams said

“arrangements of this tittle has been on for the past seven years, kabiyesi insisted that I must take the tittle now,.

Based on the efficiency and integrity of Obas, I have no choice, it is an honor for an Oba to give you a chieftaincy tittle in Yoruba land. I have been with the kabiyesi since 1998, that is 19 years now, I lived in Amuwo Odofin local government for many years, before moving to Omole Phase II.

Among those present at the conferment were the, wives of the Alamuwo, Amuwo Odofin council of chiefs, the National Coordinating Council members of Oodua People’s Congress among others

Despite violent opposition from mediocre minds he is a famous high flyer in all the continents of the world in the contemporary times.

 

All the time he is busy leading by example and influence; showing others the way and going the way himself.
