Its if this note that the Amuwo Odofin Local Government has announced its plan to put in place modalities for the construction of 6 borehole facilities in 6 wards.
The local Government chairman, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh said the construction of the boreholes which is in partnership with Mr Ola Folorunsho campaign group was an important step toward providing sustainable water supply to each Ward.
The chairman said that the provision of portable water showed the determination of the council to bring more dividends of democracy to the people.
Buraimoh made this disclosure during the courtesy visit of Ola Folorunsho Campaign Group at his office, Festac Town, Lagos.
Folorunsho went on to say that, the campaign group subscribes to the highest standards of corporate social responsibility (CSR), stressing that Water is crucial in the existence and development of man and one cannot imagine living without water which is an important factor in determining human settlement.
