Green Carpet Foundation Hosts Quiz Competition in Festac Town

May 27th of every year has been set aside to specifically and specially celebrate the Children across the globe by different Scholars of the thoughts in recognitions and appreciations of their valued existence in their respective homes and Society,at large. The recognition of these wonderful creatures on this special day come with so much activities to spice up their events as put together by their respective organizers.

For Tender Touch Nursery and Primary Schools, Festac Town, Lagos State,it was a quiz competition between different classes of learning where educational skills were demonstrated. The Pupils were witnessed responding to questions from different subjects being fielded by the Scholars. These participants were seen cruising on the event as questions appeared to be simple due to their constant studies.

Speaking,the Founder and C.E.O. of Green Carpet Foundation(G.C.F),Hon.Adewumi Ogunshina was alerted at the responses of the Participants during their sessions. He attributed these to the current management of the School. He applauded the knowledge being inculcated in the Pupils by their teachers or instructors.

Hon. Adewumi who served as a Councilor representative the good People of Ward K in Amuwo Odofin LGA between 2017 – 2021 tenure reiterated the decisions of the G.C.F. in raising the Leaders of tomorrow as Education remains the bedrock of Societal progress and should be adequately attended to. He further noted that, the Pupils of different Schools at every cadre should be given special preference in terms teaching.

Hon. Ogunshina who was adjoured as the best Councilor in his tenure due to his developmental programs in his Ward called on Parents to ensure,no Child is sent on a Street Hawking before, during and after School sessions stating that, education is now affordable especially,in Lagos State where the Government had subsided the tuitions to be free. He thanked the Government of Lagos State and Nigeria for their programs in the educational sector.

Appreciating the organizers,the Principal of the School and the management were happy for the organizers in remembering them in their loudable projects. They noted that,the School has been benefiting from the loudable projects of the G.C.F for more than Nine(9) years at a stretch. He encouraged the management never to relent in the progressive programs of alleviating the challenges in the education industry.

Present were renowned educational Scholars ,Mrs Benson and Miss Patience Akpan and others.
