Sometime last year, we recall the Lagos State Government unveiled it’s first set of public electronic vehicles -Bus Rapid Transit- to ease movement for commuters in the state.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, says the state government is planning to buy no fewer than 2,050 vehicles to ease movement, and further address queues at bus stations across the state.
With the support of an oil company, more BRT buses will also be provided to support the government’s effort.
The state government had also earlier announced a plan to reduce transportation fares by 25 per cent in all routes. The announcement was one of the palliative measures to check queues in bus stations.
