AYLES2018 : Lagos Set to Host Africa Youth Leadership & Economic Summit

African Youths to deliberate on the Youth Entrepreneurship at AYLES 2018

The Guardian Newspaper Ltd collaborates with The Orator Project Africa & National Youth Council of Nigeria to hold the 3rd edition of Africa Youth Leadership & Economic Summit , an African forum on youth employment, leadership and economic development.

This conference gathers together the brightest young leaders from around Africa, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change in their communities.

 

Africa Youth Leadership & Economic Summit is an annual Summit where the most valuable young talents from Africa comes together to debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues Africa faces which include unemployment, security and political leadership.

 

The summit is the 3rd in the series to be held in Lagos Nigeria from 3rd – 5th May 2018 at Eko Hotels & Suite Grand Ball Hall, Lagos, Nigeria, 9am to 4pm daily.

 

AYLES2018 Is designed to be a defining moment in the history of the Nigerian and Africa’s young people; it is a seminal as well as a boot-camp event that will launch a decade-long global campaign for youth employment and leadership development.

 

Delegates with unique business ideas and plans are empowered to work on their own initiatives or collaborate with others to create opportunities that benefit their communities.

 

The goal of the Summit is to create productive and sustainable livelihoods for an additional 20 million young adults, especially young graduates and start-up facing poverty by share lack of leadership direction in creating the enabling environment to support creative ideas, by the year 2023.

 

AYLES will be a “working summit” where a large contingent of youth and representatives from diverse sectors of society will share innovative ideas, practices, and strategies for promoting youth employment.

All delegates will join the The Orator Project network, a worldwide network of individuals and institutions that will take action and promote youth employment in the continent.

After the summit, TOP members will convene regional, national, and local meetings to identify barriers, suggest promising strategies, share innovations and develop their own action plans to help fulfil the goals of the summit.

The conference will focus on 3 key things: Youth Entrepreneurship, Workplace Transformation, Career Advancement

These 3 days will have highly interactive sessions laced with performances from Top African Artistes, Games, and Excursion trips for delegates coming from other countries, group presentations from schools etc.
