Valentine Buraimoh | Amuwo LG
Valentine Buraimoh is the incumbent chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LGA.
He is seeking a re-election into the same position under the All Progressive Congress, APC.
He is a Husband, Father and strong believer of and ideal community. He is a Bsc Holder in Electronics and computer engineering at the Lagos State University.
He was born on 1st of April, 1977. He took leadership of Amuwo Odofin LG On July 25, 2017.
As part of his manifesto for the second term in office if re-elected, He plans to Focus and drive his Administration to re-visit the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), for which an office has already been established in the Council with a design to achieve a better and more sustainable progress of our people in the areas of Economic Development, Human Capacity Building, Social Welfare and Environmental Sustainability.
Engr Burimoh said that It further encompasses projects that focus on the following: The People of Amuwo Odofin, Our Partnership and synergy with other public sectors, local & foreign investors as well as Private Corporations & well meaning individuals, An Environment that is conducive for habitation, business & peaceful co-existence.
He promises to continue to operate an open-door policy, accessible and seamless communication and feedback systems with the general public.
Adedayo Adesoye | Amuwo LG
Adedayo Adesoye, is also a candidate contesting for the position of LG Chairman Amuwo under the opposition Party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP .
He attended 4th Ave Prim school, Festac Grammar school and bagged a BSc from university of Ibadan
In 2017 October/November, Sir Adedayo Adesoye reconstructed the roofs gutted by Fire of four top flats at 401rd D Close Blk 2 Festac Town.
He organised several FREE NIN Registrations for residents in the community in the past months
He plans to give a robust security architecture of digital Innovation with integrated security systems, He plan to improve power distribution and Load Shedding
He intends to improve primary health care , Start digital innovation in schools, Renovation of dilapidated infrastructure and Improved Welfare For Teachers.
He promises to improve waste management, Environmental sanitation and holistic Drainage system to take care of Flood issues.
Mr Dayo if voted in Promises to Provide Pipe Borne Water for communities in riverine areas and other communities within the LG
As part of His campaign promises he intends to provide soft loan to Traders, Empowerment & Skill Acquisition programs for all.
And of course Road Rehabilitation , exploration of alternate road network to ease traffic congestion in the area and creating alternative transport system by exploiting waterways.
Olajide Ikujenyo | Oriade LCDA
Olajide Omoruyi Ikujenyo is the Chairmanship Candidate of the PDP In Oriade LCDA. He is an Oil and Gas Downstream logistics professional, Lagos state House of Assembly Aspirant in 2019, Stunch Patriot of Oriade LCDA.
As part of his campaign promises, If voted into office, He would commence the grading of the interconnecting street roads across the 7 wards in Oriade LCDA within 6 months of assuming office and periodic update would be shared on the status and plans ahead.
He laments that Another cause of traffic in the LCDA is the activities of the Oil and Gas tank farms and the Port inland depots situated in Kirikiri and Ijegun-egba respectively.
As an Oil and Gas Logistics professional, he promises to leverage his network, office, capacity and experience in addressing the identified operational gaps so as to bring succour to the good people of Oriade LCDA while also ensuring these business owners engage in their activities with minimal environmental hazard to the host residents and by extension the LCDA.
Ramotalai Akinola-Hassan | Oriade LCDA
Ramotalai Akinola-Hassan is the Incumbent chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, LCDA vying for a re-election as Chairman of the LCDA under the All Progressive Congress, APC.
She was a Former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly where she represented Amuwo Odofin Constituency II.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University and Master of Public Administration (MPA) from same institution.
She is a Professional member of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN); she has bagged numerous academic & leadership awards; and series of awards in community development and administrative competence & experience.
She is seeking re-election for second term as the Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
