Today’s attention is directed to one of Amuwo Odofin’s fast-rising artist, Bulan. He was born at the Golden Cross Hospital. He was bred right here in Festac town. He started music right from the church, playing the Conga drums for the Catholic church mass.
What over here in Festac inspires your music? The everyday lifestyle, the unexpected tomorrow full of stories, never a dying moment, games and activities, the nightlife, and security. The children and old ones to learn from and experience, the culture and the streets.
How did you start music? I started music in the catholic church as a chorister. I played the conga drum for mass and others. Then I developed in singing and started performing in school. I also began making money from a business choir here in Festac. This choir takes me to other states to entertain. I make money from it. Festac is home for me and Festac is my music.
Newest release? I love the song ALL DAY. The song has a relatable storyline about a girl and her insecurities. The music is a message back to her assuring her what she believes isn’t true. Writing the song, I drew inspiration from 2face old songs and gave birth to ALL DAY. I am a Songwriter and a music producer and I produced the beat for this song also.
