The Festac Town Resident Association, FTRA has recognised and awarded some individuals in the community for their contributions.
This was done at the recently held leadership retreat tagged The Role and Responsibilities of FTRA which was organised by the leadership of the association led by the current president, Barr Adegenro.
At the retreat, amongst other awardees who were given a certificate of recognition, was Hon Ogunshina, who bagged an excellent certificate in community leadership.
The event was aimed at reminding the Residents of the continued protection of the FTRA to the community as well as charging them to be good representatives of their chosen areas.
In recognizing his undoubtedly services to the development of the community in different spheres,the immediate past Counsellor of Ward K in Amuwo Odofin LGA, Hon.Adewunm Ogunshina was recognized with a Certificate excellence in Community leadership. Presenting the award,the leadership appreciated the awardee for his role in the community in different areas. He was encouraged to remain steadfast and focused, noting that history efforts are being noticed.
Speaking,the recipient thanked the Community Leaders for finding him worthy and recognizing his fits over the years towards the advancement of the Community. Hon ADEWUNMI who was an Aspirant for the Chairmanship position, Amuwo Odofin LGA in the last general elections encomiums on the FTRA administration for their efforts thus far. He encouraged them to remain together in unity for more success to be recorded.
