Okota Based Church Honors Philanthropist

The Anglican Church of The Pentecost, Diocese of Lagos Mainland honored Lady Tina Okafor. They also honored two others with the Ezinne title.

The amazing mother was honored in a grand style in the church during Mother’s Day Celebration. According to the Chair lady of Mothers Day/Award Committee, Mrs Nkechi Ezenwa: “Lady Tina was given Ezinne title.” This was for a reason.” The award was given because of her contributions. The Women of the Anglican Church of the Pentecost considered her Marriage of 30 years a success.

The marriage has produced well behaved Children and Grand Children. A true devoted woman of God. She is never tired of rendering her services to God in her Parish. She also serves in the Archdeaconry, the Diocese, and her fellowship (SFI).

Her family is one of the pioneer members of the church. Till date, they are not tired of rendering their Services to God,” Ezenwa extolled.

She further stated: “She has been a pillar and a huge support both to the younger women. She has also been a huge support to the elderly in the church. She has supported them in the fellowship and in her social work and services. Young women fondly call her Mummy Tee. Again she has been the only women leader in the parish.

She has remained in this position till date due to her good deeds. She is kind-hearted and loves the women and everyone around her. Little wonder when the opportunity of the Honor of the title of Ezinne came up. Her nomination was expressly approved by the majority. This didn’t come as a surprise to anyone. We are happy to introduce her to the world as EZINNE on merit.”

Talking about her career, Lady Tina is an independent TV Producer and Presenter. She produced and co-presented a TV talk show on NTA channel 10 Lagos. She is also the CEO of CUCIOIC Ltd and an SDG Ambassador on Humanitarian and Social Development. She is an Assistant Superintendent of Police (SUPERNUMERARY) shows her soaring achievements in resume.

The Anambra state born philanthropist is now a Diocesan Board Member of Lagos Mainland Diocese of the Anglican Communion. She is also an Okota Archdeaconry Board Member. She is the Bishop’s nominee at the PCC level. She is one of the oldest standing members of the PCC of The Anglican Church of Pentecost okota. She is the women leader; a position she occupied since the Inception of the Church over 15 years ago.

Among other recipients were Lady Uche Ndulue, Mrs Elizbeth Uzoma who the award and honour were celebrated by the church
