It was all excitment and joy when the old student association of the 1986 set gave a heartfelt and remarkable contribution to their Alma mater , Amuwo-Odofin Secondary school.
The donation included a borehole and water treatment plant, sports equipment, and literature textbooks.
Speaking to the authorities, An Exco of the association, said
This donation will give the students access to clean drinking water, it will bring opportunities for physical activity, and the textbooks will aid as quality educational resources are essential for the growth and development of our young minds and greatly enhance the learning experience and well-being of our students.
The beneficiaries of the donation were both the junior school and the senior school. Present to receive the donations were Mrs Funmilayo Amie , the junior school principal, and Mrs Ajayi , the senior school principal.

Both schools are deeply inspired by the Old Students Association’s commitment to giving back to their community and paving the way for future generations. Their actions serve as a powerful reminder to our students that they, too, can make a positive impact in the world.
To the students, we say: let this generous donation inspire you to strive for excellence, to give back to your community, and to make a difference in the lives of those around you. You are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers, and we have no doubt that you will make us proud.
Once again, we extend our sincerest appreciation to the Old Students Association (1986 set) for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to our school community. This legacy will continue to inspire and motivate the learners for years to come.
